Renewable energy solutions from Pure Power Solutions help businesses throughout Northern California maintain their commitment to sustainability. Take a look at how we designed and installed a sustainable solar energy system for Oliver’s Market in Santa Rosa, CA.

A Commitment to Sustainability

Oliver’s Market is a regional grocery store chain committed to providing customers in Sonoma County with a wide selection of local, organic, and sustainable products. With their commitment to sustainability and available space on the roof of their headquarters, going solar was a natural step for Oliver’s Market.

After discussing their solar goals with multiple solar contractors in the area, Oliver’s Market ultimately chose us for the project.

The Solution: A Grid-Tied, Roof-Mounted System

Our team worked closely with the sustainability coordinator at Oliver’s Market to determine the size and scope of the new system. The final solution was a grid-tied commercial-scale system, mounted on the roof of the large corporate headquarters and distribution warehouse. The solar system is 60.8 kW in size and features high efficiency modules by LG.

For this particular installation, we needed to minimize penetrations through the roof and make the installation work around multiple skylights. As a result, we performed a ballast roof mount installation using a flexible racking system by Ecolibrium Solar.

The Results: Offset Electricity Usage & Maximum ROI

We have received extremely positive feedback about this project. The new solar energy system now offsets 84% of electricity usage at the Oliver’s Market headquarters, all while maximizing return on investment. With the financial savings generated by the new system, Oliver’s Market will quickly recover the initial cost of their solar investment.
