J.Gerard Systems Administrator
After graduating from UCLA with a BA in English Literature, Gerard began pursuing his interest in the digital arts. After completing a 2 year certification program in Computer Animation at Santa Monica College, his passion for the digital medium led him to computer programming. Gerard then acquired an AS degree from SMC in Web Programming and Networking technologies as well as a CISCO networking certification.
Now a Healdsburg local, Gerard has worked for Pure Power Solutions for six years. Gerard starting working for Pure Power after a particularly thoughtful conversation with Rody convinced him there was a place in Pure Power Solutions for a person of his skill and experience. He said "we can make a tangible and lasting impact on our environment by advocating and installing renewable energy systems and do it better than anyone else." then he added "It's the right thing to do." Gerard started, in the trenches (literally), learning the trade from the ground up at the time when the business was operated out of a trailer located in Alexander Valley. With an eye for the visual and mind for the technical, Gerard is a unique asset to the company as a solar technician, monitoring pro, and IT administrator.
